Cuddy is a moderate bitch, around 54 pounds. She is very smart and a pleaser who loves to be in any ring. She is a joy to show in the breed ring where she shines naturally, and is fast and attentive in the rally ring. She got her first two CD legs at our first two obedience trials which were my fist time in an obedience ring, and her title at our third. Cuddy regularly wins her rally class with very high scores and with limited training, and she has never had an NQ. Cuddy qualified for the 2019 AKC Rally National Championship in the Advanced Class. Cuddy has a beautiful, thick, dark gold coat with lighter furnishings and a lot of undercoat. She has some light eye lashes and some white hairs on her muzzle and cape, but at 12 years old is still largely her original darker gold color. She always has had a gorgeous free stack, a rock hard level top line, and a lot of neck. She is beautifully balanced with correct shoulder lay back and great angles front and rear. As a Veteran, she looks as good as she did years ago, and not long ago was still winning in the breed ring, taking a Best in Specialty and a Best Opposite in Specialty at the Lenape GRC specialties in 2022, 2nd in 10-12 Veterans Sweeps at the 2022 and 2023 Nationals, and 2nd in 10-12 Veterans at the 2023 National. 5 of her CH points were breeder owner handled (my first show dog) out of BBE, and her GCH was breeder owner handled. She has been breeder owner handled as a veteran, as well, garnering a specialty and an all breed BOB in 2022 with only a few weekends out, plus a ranking of #23 in the NOHS in 2022. Cuddy was been a wonderful dog for my young junior handler, and Cuddy has excelled as a veteran. She is obviously thrilled to be back, because she loves performing in the breed ring. She produced well, with a number of titled pups including three qualifying progeny toward her OD at young ages, pups with agility, obedience, rally, tracking, and nose work titles, and several pups with points toward their CH. Her pups participate with great success in all disciplines - agility, tracking, obedience, rally, nose work, and conformation. She has pups in field training and a couple pups having fun as active gun dogs. Cuddy’s last litter, eight pups, arrived 3 days before her eighth birthday, another good sized litter even at that age.
Many thanks to the owners of her Qualifying Progeny for Outstanding Dam:

Maggie is a substantial girl, good size with a lot of bone. She has a gorgeous, correct, wavy and easy to manage light color coat, level top line, correct tail set, and a lot of neck. She is very well proportioned, and moves out beautifully in the breed ring. She is correct coming and going, and stacks just beautifully. Maggie has a lovely headpiece, lots of substance, and great rib spring. Maggie has been breeder owner handled to 9 points and one major, and has 10 CH points total. Maggie has had four lovely litters of healthy pups.

Kent x Cuddy
Bred and Owned by Karin and Natalie Shinego
Islay's pedigree is fantastic, and the mix of Kent and Cuddy produced a consistent litter with predictably great type. Islay has wonderful, correct coat, good bone, nice rib spring, good prosternum, and a strong rear with a substantial second thigh and good rear angulation. She is a smaller girl, but nicely proportioned and very pretty. She has a lovely head, with gorgeous pigment and a beautiful, friendly and alert expression. She is attentive and easy to train. We have her out for rally, and she has been Natalie's juniors dog occasionally. She is very smart, and picks up on rally and obedience training very quickly. She gets scores in the very high 90s in rally, and generally loses points only on handler error. Se has qualified for the Rally National in Rally Advanced. Her retention is great, as well. I have taken extended time off during training, and she starts back up where she left off months ago, not missing a step. Before taking off time for two litters, she had been placing very well in Bred By at specialties and winning her class, so we hope to start showing her more in seriously in 2024 and 2025 as she takes a break from puppies.

Aberdeen is a pretty girl with beautiful, correct, wavy coat. She moves well, with a free and easy side gait and clean movement coming and going, and she converges correctly in front. She has nice front and rear angles and good bone, and a substantial thigh. Aberdeen finished her AKC Championship with a specialty major after getting several titles in conformation, agility, and obedience from other organizations. Aberdeen lives in Texas.
Chani

Maestro x Islay
Bred by Karin and Natalie Shinego

Chani is still very much a puppy, but she will mature with great bone, a fantastic front with great shoulder lay back and lay in, good prosternum, and good length of upper arm, plus a beautiful head and pretty face with awesome pigment. I expect her coat to continue to be correct - dense, neither coarse nor silky, with slight waves lying close to the body. She has lovely, fluid movement, and her first time out in 4-6 Puppy she took the Sporting Group. Chani placed 4th in a huge and lovely 6-9 Sweeps class at the 2023 GRCA National, jusy days after she turned six months old. We don't show her often yet, but she has already started to win her BBE class, so we look forward to her maturing. She naturally retrieves to hand, and loves nothing more than bringing back the bumper!

A Coach daughter and Yogi granddaughter with a fantastic pedigree, Libby produced wonderfully as my foundation. She was the perfect choice and started something very good. She had OFA Excellent hips, and she got her eyes checked every year for a clearance including a few months before she passed. Libby produced two GCH out of her first litter, and later a third GCH, all three of which have continued into other disciplines with success. Her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids are smart with wonderful dispositions, and are show or performance dogs, active gun dogs, certified therapy dogs, and much loved family pets. Libby's grandkids are now producing lovely and talented offspring. I'm always happy when buyers of Libby's pups come back for a second dog or refer me to their families and friends. Even in her teens, Libby moved beautifully, clean coming and going, with a smooth, elastic gait. She had correct, full dentition and a perfect bite, not even dropped incisors. She had a beautiful face, and very wavy light color coat with lightest furnishings. Libby won veterans sweeps twice on a specialty weekend, her first times in the ring! A puppy at heart, she remained energetic and athletic until shortly before her death of old age, and loved to run and wrestle with the next generations. Other than losing some of her hearing, Libby showed no signs of her age until the last months of her life. She will forever be missed.
