Libby April 2009 - September 2023
Graceken Highmark Hope For Liberty Risk OD
Coach ex Raurie
Bred by Cheryl Kenny and Linda Willard
Owned by Karin Shinego and Cheryl Kenny
A Coach daughter and Yogi granddaughter with a fantastic pedigree, Libby produced wonderfully as my foundation. She was the perfect choice and started something very good. She had OFA Excellent hips, and she got her eyes checked every year for a clearance including a few months before she passed. Libby produced two GCH out of her first litter, and later a third GCH, all three of which have continued into other disciplines with success. Her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids are smart with wonderful dispositions, and are show or performance dogs, active gun dogs, certified therapy dogs, and much loved family pets. Libby's grandkids are now producing lovely and talented offspring. I'm always happy when buyers of Libby's pups come back for a second dog or refer me to their families and friends. Even in her teens, Libby moved beautifully, clean coming and going, with a smooth, elastic gait. She had correct, full dentition and a perfect bite, not even dropped incisors. She had a beautiful face, and very wavy light color coat with lightest furnishings. Libby won veterans sweeps twice on a specialty weekend, her first times in the ring! A puppy at heart, she remained energetic and athletic until shortly before her death of old age, and loved to run and wrestle with the next generations. Other than losing some of her hearing, Libby showed no signs of her age until the last months of her life. She will forever be missed.

Aberdeen June 27, 2020 - March 11, 2025
UCH CH EtaDOro Stone Path to Magic TKN VHMP CGCA CGCU UJJ
Decoy x Maggie
Bred by Libby and Greg Benson and Karin Shinego
Owned by Amanda Pratt and Karin and Natalie Shinego
Aberdeen was a pretty girl with beautiful, correct, wavy coat. She moved well, with a free and easy side gait and clean movement coming and going, converging correctly in front. She had nice front and rear angles and good bone, and a substantial thigh. Aberdeen finished her AKC Championship with a specialty major after getting several titles in conformation, agility, and obedience from other organizations. Aberdeen lived in Texas.
Aberdeen passed away tragically on the table during a c-section for her second lovely litter. Vets have theorized it was compression of her abdominal aorta when she was sedated and on her back. It's also possible there was a complication due to the anesthesia, or some combination of factors. Whatever the reason, she did not wake up, though her 11 puppies survived. She will forever be missed by Amanda, and her premature loss was devastating to us all.

CHARLIE May 2018 - September 2024
EtaDOro's Red E For A Good Time JH WC
Owned and missed by Andy and Lee Ann Moore
Charlie was a great dog, with a sweet disposition and a love for the water. He really was always ready for a good time. He passed from lymphoma quite suddenly.
